I grew up in a Christian home and I was a child that always wanted to do the right thing. I was about 11 years old and I knew that my life was not complete with me in charge. I was lost and empty inside. I made bad choices and did things that the Lord would not want for me to do with my life.
Once I talked to my parents about making the choice to go down front, we called the preacher and had him to come over and pray with me. This was really helpful because I knew that this was the best thing that was about to happen in my life. I was at Camp La Vida when I felt the Lord say, “You are my child and I want you to spend eternity with Me one day.” I knew then that the time was right.
I now know that no matter what Jesus is there for me and will always love me. I am His child and He loves me through the good and the bad choices I may make in life.
