Rose Gidaro
I was raised in a Baptist Church. I did not really remember a lot before I was saved.
I attended a back yard Bible club presented by some Bob Jones University students.
They presented the wordless book which represents the story of salvation with colors. I remember falling under great conviction and I made a profession of faith at my church and was baptized.
I really did not grow in my faith after my profession of faith. I did not regularly read my Bible or pray on a regular basis. Throughout my life I frequently “re-dedicated” my life, always trying to do things in my own strength. I began to have many trials in my life and challenges that truly humbled and broke me. This is when I began to know my Jesus who was there for me (Psalms 34:18.) I developed a daily quiet time, spending time in my Bible and in prayer. I also attended Bible Fellowship on a regular basis. I did not re-dedicate my life, I surrendered to Jesus (II Corinthians12:9.) He truly met me in my pain, and point of need, with the passion and power of Jesus and the Holy Spirit. A plan and purpose for life. and protection and perseverence (II Corinthians 1:3-4.)

Rose,
Thank you for your lifestyle witness, especially for the worn bible which lays on the counter in your office and The Word for You Today in the waiting room. You are a blessing. Linwood
