Olvie Fuller
My Dad was a pastor so it seemed to me that we were always at church. I don’t remember a time when I didn’t know who Jesus is. My parents, grandparents and others had taught me about Jesus. They had on many occasions told me about God’s love for me. They had explained that Jesus loved me so much He willingly died on a cross to pay the penalty for my sins.
I came to understand that I was sinful when I didn’t obey my parents or when I was not truthful or had a bad attitude, etc. So one evening during a revival service at the age of seven, I asked Jesus to forgive me and come into my heart and life. A short time later I was baptized and joined the church.
Life has not always been easy but I have always known Jesus was with me. My personal relationship with Jesus Christ has always given me peace, hope and joy regardless of my circumstances. He has also given me assurance that when I die I will go to heaven.
Now, my greatest goal in life is to tell as many people as I can about what Jesus has done for me because I want everyone to experience the peace, hope, joy and love that comes only through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
