I was raised in a Christian home and I was at church every Sunday and every Wednesday night. If I wanted to sleep in on a Sunday morning I remember my mom waking me up and telling me I was going. Through going to church and hearing about what Christ did on the cross for me,  I knew at a young age that I needed Jesus in my life.

When I was seven years old the pastor asked that if anyone needed Jesus in their life to come down. I remember feeling just an urgency to go down. My mom was standing beside me and I told her that I wanted to go down. As the pastor began to pray with me, I began to cry because I was overwhelmed with the fact that someone would die such a horrible death for me. The verse that opened my eyes to see that I needed Jesus was John 3:16 ” For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.”

After I turned my life over to Christ He changed me form the inside out. Others should see that I have a hope in my life that I did not have before. A hope that Christ has the best for me and that He will use me to glorify His name. My personality and attitude has changed in the way that I have a peace and a joy that only come from knowing Jesus. I still have struggles of worrying and trusting Him with the uncertanties in life sometimes but Jesus always proves Himslef faithful everytime!
