Joy Bagwell

As a child, I was raised in a christain home and went to church regularly. My family was active in ministry and the church we attended did not allow it’s members to go to movies, ballgames, wear certain clothes. More attention was on behavior than relationship with Christ.
Therefore I was always concerned about my salvation.

I remember as a young child during a revival (2 weeks), I realized I needed to ask Jesus into my heart and repent of my sin.The preacher explained how Jesus was born of a virgin, died on a cross, gave His life that I might have life and rose again on the third day.

At times through the years I never really felt sure of my salvation because I felt I was not good enough to measure up. As I grew up and learned when I sinned all I had to do was ask His forgivenss and He was always there to forgive. We never become good enough within ourselves, but by the grace of God we can live a fruitful life for Him.
