Josh Jackson

I was born in to a Christian home with two loving parents. Some people are not able to look at their parents and say that they want to be like them, but this wasn’t the case with me. From an early age I could look at the lives of my parents and say that I wanted what they had. I wanted to have a relationship with Jesus the way they did and benefit from it the way they did.

I remember one night in particular that my Dad was putting me to bed. I told him that I wanted him to help me ask Jesus in to my life. He talked to me that night and confirmed that I knew about Jesus’ life, death and resurrection. I prayed that night and asked Jesus to be my savior.

I was only 6 years old when I made that decision to give my life to Jesus. The vast majority of life has taken place since that moment. There have been many times in my life where I have wandered away from God’s goodness and love, but God has been the rock that I could always return to no matter how awful my sins were. The true love and forgiveness given to me by God that I accepted at 6 years old has been the constant in my life that guides me during every season. His promise to never leave or forsake me has been the source of my strength, joy and peace every day since that first one.
