I’ve always been in church. I have a good Christian family, and because of their influence I realized at an early age I needed Jesus in my life.
One day in church when I was 6 years old I accepted Christ. During the invitation I asked my mom if i could go down and talk to someone. So she took me to see a counselor. He took me and my mom to a room and asked me all sorts of questions( if I believed that Jesus died on the cross for me and came back to life in 3 days). I told him yes so he prayed with me, and I asked Jesus into my heart.
Since I was young, I didn’t know quite what to do after that. When I was in 3rd grade we started to talk about evolution at school, and I was really confused. I knew that God made everything so why were they telling me differently? So I asked my mom to explain it to me. Then I started doing a quiet time and really began to grow spiritually. In 6th grade I started to hang out with the wrong group, and stopped really living for the Lord. In 7th grade at a church trip, I recommitted my life. I knew that I was saved but I knew I wasn’t living like I was supposed to. I then started a quiet time again. Since then I have really grown and I am very secure in my salvation.
