God began to work in my life at a very early age. When I was 2 months old, he placed me in a loving home where I was adopted by two amazing Christian parents. Church has always been a huge part of my life. I learned very early that God loved me so much that He sent His son to die for all of the wrong things that I would ever do in my life. That left an impression on me during my elementary school years.
I remember Miss Debbie telling us every week during Children’s Church how much God loves us and how we could accept the gift of life that He had so freely given by sending Jesus as our sacrifice for sin. One night during prayer time with my mom and dad, I asked Jesus to be my Lord and Savior. It is a precious memory to have as my parents were able to lead me in the sinners prayer! The next Sunday I was so excited to tell Miss Debbie of my recent decision!
My life has not always been a perfect example of how a Christian should live. I have made plenty of mistakes and unfortunalely may have led some unbelievers astray because of my actions. However, God has ALWAYS been true to His word and forgiven me when I let the world cloud my judgement. When I was in college, I was involved in a very serious accident that could have cost me my life, but once again God intervened. I decided then that I was not playing around anymore with this life that God had so richly blessed me with. Since that time, I have been more committed to reaching out to others so that everyone may have the same opportunity to feel God’s precence in their life day after day.
