I grew up in a Christian home. Both of my parents are very strong Christians, and they have always taught me about Christ. I was always in church every time the doors were open (and even sometimes when they weren’t!) I was always hearing about Jesus from my family, teachers at FBNS Kindergarten (way before SCA was established), and Sunday School teachers. I knew I loved Jesus, but I also knew that He was not in my heart.

When I was 6 years old, I realized that loving Jesus was not enough. I knew I needed Him to come in my heart and be my Savior. I knew He loved me so much He died on the cross for me and after 3 days he rose again. He forgave me for all of my sins, and He wanted me to accept Him. So I talked with my Mom and Daddy; we prayed together, and I asked Jesus to be my personal Savior.

That was almost 14 years ago, and ever since then my life has greatly changed. I learn new things about God every single day. He is my Savior, my Provider, my Shelter, my Joy, my everything! I know no matter what, He will always love me. I fail Him daily–many many times, but He always shows me His redeeming, unfailing love. His love is greater than I could ever imagine.
